Precious

This painting is the second work in the Presence series — a series that is particularly important and personal to me. It focuses on inner states and subtle emotional experiences rather than narrative or clear symbolism. It is about something valuable, about what happens within, even when nothing obvious is happening on the surface.

“Precious” does not offer a clear answer to what is important and what is not. It avoids definitions and does not guide the viewer toward a specific interpretation. For me, it was essential to leave space — open, quiet, and unnamed.

This painting is full of calm appreciation and meditation. It reflects states that are difficult to explain in words but easy to recognize internally. Feelings that shift with time and context, yet remain genuine. The meaning of this work is not fixed — it emerges through interaction with the viewer.
